St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La., plans to build a $15 million health center to replace the existing facility, according to a News-Star report.
The community health center will house clinics, outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, imaging, a lab and pharmacy and physician offices. The plot of land, on which the building will be constructed, will allow room for expansion if needed. Hospital officials hope to complete phase one of construction by the end of 2013.
