Santa Barbara (Calif.) Cottage Hospital has moved 102 patients to its new hospital, marking the completion of the fourth stage of a large-scale construction project, according to a Noozhawk report.
The new hospital is being built to withstand a magnitude-six earthquake. Construction began in 2005 and encompasses three additional stages, a process the hospital expects to complete in 2017.
