Republican members of the House of Representatives will introduce a conservative healthcare reform plan to replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act after the August recess, according to a report in The Hill.
Few details about the legislation, drafted by the 173-member Republican Study Committee, have been released, though RSC Chairman Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) said the law would help provide coverage for patients with preexisting conditions, according to the report.
