Oak Valley Hospital District will celebrate the completion of the first phase of its new Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, Calif., at an open house today, according to a Modesto Bee report.
The $69 million hospital will begin treating patients in August. The new facility is connected to the hospital's existing facility and includes an emergency room and surgical services. Inpatient services will continue at the existing facility.
The second phase of the project, which would move the hospital's inpatient services to the second story of the new facility, will commence once funding becomes available, according to the report.
