Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Fla., has begun a $50 million expansion and renovation project, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.
The project includes a new two-story inpatient bed tower, eight new operating rooms, renovation of the endoscopy suites, replacement and expansion of the post-anesthesia care unit and renovation and expansion of the central sterile department, according to the report. The hospital will also expand the power plant and add a new parking lot. The expansion will add 70,000 square feet to the hospital, and the renovation will cover 30,000 square feet of existing space.
The expansion is expected to be completed in fall 2013.
