Montana Lawmaker Regrets Medicaid No-Vote

The Montana legislature blocked a bill to expand the state's Medicaid program from reaching the floor by one vote, according to a report by the Missoulian.

After voting against bringing the bill to the floor, one Democratic representative said he had changed his stance, but later attempts to undo the first vote also failed.

With few working days left in the legislative session, the state is unlikely to pass legislation for Medicaid expansion.
