Chelsea (Mich.) Community Hospital is expected to merge with Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, which operates six hospitals and five outpatient health centers in southeastern Michigan, according to a report in The Ann Arbor News.
The 113-bed Chelsea Hospital is expected to retain its name and leadership team after the merger.
The merger should be completed by May, according to the report.
