McKesson Introduces Supply iQ for Tracking Supply Costs

McKesson Medical-Surgical has introduced McKesson Supply iQ, a new web application for tracking a long-term healthcare facility's clinical supply needs against its actual supply utilization, according to a company news release.

In collaboration with PointClickCare, a provider of web-based electronic health records for long-term care, the technology was designed to help a facility control costs and improve care. Nursing home administrators can also track spending on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis to view supply and spending trends, and administrators can compare supply data from individual facilities to the company's benchmark.
