McKesson, a healthcare services and information technology company, recently announced support for Operation Gratitude by assembling care packages for active duty troops and wounded soldiers, according to a company news release.
Operation Gratitude is a non-profit volunteer-based organization that annually sends over 100,000 care packages to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas.
More than 15,000 McKesson employees will volunteer as part of the company's "Community Days" to assemble the care packages, which include hygiene items and other essentials.
