Kettering Health Network in Ohio Opens $135M Soin Medical Center

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network is opening the $135 million Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio, on Wednesday, according to a Dayton Daily News report.

The new hospital's location has a high population of profitable patients, which may help the health system as it has laid off an undisclosed number of employees and is below revenue targets, according to the report.

Soin Medical Center is named for Indu and Raj Soin, who donated more than $10 million to the construction of the facility.
