Fresno (Calif.) Surgical Hospital has announced the completion of its two-year reconstruction project.
The project included a complete rebuilding of five operating rooms and an internal re-design, which increased the number of pre-op and post-op beds from 14 to 28. Hospitals officials expect that these enhancements will allow the hospital to increase its surgical capacity by 50 percent.
The hospital underwent this project to meet California's earthquake requirements for hospitals.
