Florida Hospital East Orlando to Begin $23M ED Expansion

Florida Hospital East Orlando has broken ground on an expansion to its emergency department that is expected to open in summer 2014, according to a Central Florida News 13 report.

According to an Orlando Business Journal report, the $23 million expansion will more than double the ED to 51,752 square feet from 23,265 square feet. It will feature 65 beds and existing ED space will also be renovated.
