Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour, S.D., has broken ground on a $4.5 million expansion and renovation project, according to a Daily Republic report.
The expansion will add nearly 6,500 square feet and will renovate approximately 5,850 square feet. The project will include a new emergency room, inpatient rooms, a pharmacy and an expanded laboratory.
Construction is expected to be completed in about 18 months.
