The Clorox Company announced it has been named to the 2013 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World list by Corporate Knights, a Toronto, Canada-based media and investment research company.
Corporate Knights screens companies according to their sustainability disclosure practices, financial health, product types and any recent legal payouts. The companies are then scored on a set of sector-specific key performance indicators, including energy, water and carbon productivity.
This the first time Clorox has appeared on the list.
