Clorox Professional Products Company has announced the results of two surveys of consumers and cleaning professionals with regard to public restrooms, and announced the introduction of a new product for infection prevention.
Three in 4 American consumers are disgusted by urine odors and urine stains in public restrooms, according to the "Restroom Pet Peeves Omnibus Survey," released by the company in March 2013. Researchers surveyed 1,005 adults for this report.
Also, many cleaning professionals report that they are not satisfied with existing products to tackle these issues, according to "Online Survey of Professional Cleaning Service Industry Decision Makers," released in February 2012. Researchers surveyed 933 cleaning industry decision makers for this report.
To help address this issue, the Clorox Company will introduce a new product called Clorox Urine Remover. The product can also be used to clean feces and pet stains that can cause infections.
