Lynchburg, Va.-based Centra Health is proposing an expansion of its Gretna (Va.) Medical Center, according to a News & Advance report.
Centra will present the project to its board of directors March 26. The proposal includes adding a freestanding emergency department with a helipad, an on-site ambulance, a CT scanner and expanded X-ray services to the system's existing primary care and visiting cardiology services in Gretna.
