The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses and 40 of its chartered partners will celebrate PeriAnesthesia Nurses Awareness Week this week, Feb. 6-12, according to a news report by Somnia Anesthesia.
The theme of this year's celebration is "PeriAnesthesia Nurses: A Vital Role in Patient Care." During the week, perianesthesia nurses are encouraged to wear PANAW items to promote the week and encourage awareness of the work they do.
