Electronic health record vendor athenahealth has formed a partnership with Privia Medical Group in Arlington, Va., to improve clinical integration across the group's physician-led accountable care organization.
"Privia Health is disrupting the status quo of care delivery as we've known it, to do it better. They are bringing together the best doctors, opening conversations with payers and employers about quality and value and using technology to connect care teams, share information and manage patients' health," said Jonathan Bush, chairman and CEO of athenahealth, in a news release.
"Their work is about focused quality across the care continuum, and we're helping them to embed an information backbone to support full connectedness throughout the many transitions of care. This is truly exciting work, an initiative we're honored to be a part of and to help advance," he said.
