Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital has said it will stop using the phrase "OMG!" in its marketing efforts, following a complaint from a local blogger who believes the use of the term is disrespectful to god, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.
The hospital currently has a billboard in the suburban area of Akron known as Monstrose that reads "OMG! There’s an Akron Children’s ER in Montrose!"
A hospital spokesperson said the sign was not meant to offend anyone. The billboard will be taken down on Oct. 2, a date previously scheduled by the hospital.
