Advocate Health Care, based in Oak Brook, Ill., plans to buy a stake in RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill., which is a long-term care facility jointly owned and operated by Chicago-based Rush University and Loyola University Medical Centers, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
In addition, Advocate, Rush and Loyola are in talks to expand Rush and Loyola's partnership to include Advocate's long-term care facility, Bethany Hospital, allowing the hospital to be a part of Rush and Loyola's research and academic programs.
According to the report, Bethany will eventually join the RML family as part of the partnership.
