$100M Hospital, Renovations Planned by Cherokee Nation Businesses

Cherokee Nation Businesses, a tribal-owned conglomerate, has announced the allocation of $100 million to fund renovations at four Cherokee Nation health centers and build a new 100-bed hospital in the Cherokee Nation capital in Tahlequah, Okla., according to a Tulsa World report.

The Cherokee Nation operates the largest tribal health system in the United States with more than one million patient visits annually, according to the report.
