Teen accused of impersonating physician arrested on new charges of theft, fraud

A Florida teenager accused of posing as a physician and stealing from an elderly patient is facing new charges of grand theft and fraud, according to ABC news.

According to court documents, 19-year-old Malachi Love-Robinson allegedly wrote a bad check worth $1,500 as a down payment for a car.

Details on the grand theft charge were not available, according to the article.

Mr. Love-Robinson was arrested March 2 after authorities said he pretended to be a physician and stole $3,500 from a patient.

Mr. Love-Robinson's trial is slated to begin in November.
