A former medical assistant was charged this week with 93 felony counts for allegedly using stolen prescription pads to forge prescriptions, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Police said Sarah Lichtenberger, 47, had a pharmacy book with unsigned refill forms from Cherokee Women's Health Specialists, the Woonsocket, Ga.-based obstetrics and gynecology office where she used to work.
Ms. Lichtenberger allegedly filled more than 30 prescriptions for herself and another person at the same pharmacy over a two-year period.
Ms. Lichtenberger was employed at a different facility at the time of her arrest.
