Barrett Hospital to Cut 14 Jobs

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in Dillon, Mont., is eliminating 14 full-time positions from its workforce, according to a Montana Standard report.

The workforce reduction does not mean 14 people will lose their jobs, as some reductions are being achieved through reduced hours or attrition, according to the report.

Barrett Hospital, which has more than 275 employees, has experienced a drop in patient volumes, and CEO Ken Westman told the Montana Standard the staffing changes will help the hospital stay in the black this year.
