Sequoia China backs medtech company's $150M fundraising round

Medical robotics company Noah Medical raised $150 million in a series B financing round that saw contribution from existing investor Sequoia China.

The news comes after the company's flagship Galaxy System, a lung nodule diagnostic tool, received FDA clearance.

The company will use the funding round to meet rising demand for the Galaxy System, according to an April 19 Noah Medical news release.

Softbank Vision Fund led the financing round.
