New Orleans-based Ochsner Health is installing Aidoc's clinical artificial intelligence platform.
Ochsner will use the AI algorithms to identify acute abnormalities in patient scans. Additionally, the health system will use Aidoc's platform to help hospitals implement more AI tools, according to a June 29 Aidoc news release.
The tools will integrate within Ochsner's EHR.
"Embracing innovation is not just a choice but a responsibility, especially when it comes to patient care," Louis Jeansonne, MD, chief medical information officer at Ochsner, said in the news release. "By integrating AI into our clinical workflows, and leveraging the data within our EHR, we empower our team and pave the way for advancements that directly impact patient outcomes. This collaboration with Aidoc underscores our commitment to embracing cutting-edge technologies that have the power to reshape the healthcare landscape and provide better care to our patients."
