Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic is partnering with Fresenius Kabi to purchase 10,000 of the company's tech-focused smart pumps.
The Ivenix infusion pumps come with a smartphone-like touchscreen and will interface with Mayo Clinic's EHR and IT systems. Through the multiyear agreement, the health system will use the technology at its Minnesota, Arizona and Florida health centers.
The deal is the largest contract for the Ivenix pumps that Fresenius Kabi has signed to date.
