NextGen Healthcare and 3M have partnered to offer a Web-based ICD-10 training program to stakeholders throughout the healthcare industry.
Available as a subscription model, the training program offers specialized courses for different providers and is designed to both identify and fill clinical ICD-10 knowledge gaps.
"Although ICD-10 has been delayed until Oct. 1, 2015, healthcare organizations should continue to work toward readiness," said Terri McCubbin Graves, RN, director of consulting services for 3M, in the release. "Continuing to focus on essential transition activities, such as clinical documentation improvement, physician education and ICD-10 coding accuracy will help facilities maintain momentum and preserve the substantial investment they have already made in their ICD-10 transition."
