Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care has reached an agreement with the union representing 2,600 of its workers, according to the Telegram & Gazette.
Details of the four-year deal with State Healthcare and Research Employees Union, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 3900 were not disclosed. But union organizer Janet Wilder told the Telegram & Gazette the agreement "delivers good solid raises to our members, plus strengthens our work with the hospital to involve every SHARE member in improving how the work gets done."
In a news release quoted by the Telegram & Gazette, UMass Memorial said that union members will vote on the deal at a later date.
