Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth will add more than 200 new jobs as the organization and partner Lewisville, Texas-based Adeptus Health prepare to open two community hospitals, according to a report published by the Greeley Tribune.
The 22-bed UCHealth Broomfield (Colo.) Hospital will open this month via a partnership with Adeptus Health. The facility will feature an emergency room as well as an intensive care unit, operating rooms and a full radiology suite, according to the report.
Colorado Springs, Colo.-based UCHealth Grandview Hospital, also 22 beds, is expected to open in August.
Each community hospital is expected to create approximately 100 new jobs.
Hiring for the Broomfield hospital began in March, and UCHealth is still recruiting for registered nurses for the hospital's medical/surgical unit, intensive care unit and emergency department, according to the report. The hospital also is in need of perioperatives for the post-anesthesia care unit and operating room.
As far as hiring for Grandview Hospital, that is expected to ramp up as hiring for the Broomfield hospital winds down, according to Ryan Toedtman, UCHealth's project manager for talent acquisition.
