An expansion of Prescott Valley, Ariz.-based Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital not only created additional beds and an enlarged gym and treatment area, but also added about 15 to 20 new jobs, reports The Daily Courier.
The expansion comes as the hospital celebrates 10 years of serving patients, according to the article. The hospital will now have 44 beds, and its therapy gym and treatment areas were expanded from 6,000 to 9,000 square feet. Some administrative office space was also added, according to the report.
With the expansion, hospital officials expect the number of patients to increase from 1,400 annually to 1,600.
