Advances in healthcare technology, an aging baby boomer population and changes spurred by the ACA have increased demand for healthcare professionals across all sectors of the industry.
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics cited by LinkedIn, nearly half of the 30 fastest growing professions in the U.S. are related to healthcare. Many of these healthcare jobs offer competitive salaries and don't require years of advanced education.
In its "Most Promising Healthcare Jobs of 2017" report, LinkedIn evaluated the jobs in the healthcare sector with high median salaries, healthy job openings and year-over-year growth, and the jobs most likely to lead to a promotion or advancement within an organization.
