The tentative four-year collective bargaining agreement covers nurses at Montefiore, Mount Sinai and NewYork-Presbyterian systems.

It also offers retirees additional health benefits, includes a recommitment from alliance hospitals to fill all current open nurse positions and an agreement to spend $100 million to hire nurses.
The agreement, which would expires on Dec. 31, 2022, comes after nurses planned a strike for April 2.That strike was postponed, pending further bargaining.
