Whidbey General, workers reach tentative contract agreement: 3 things to know

Whidbey General Hospital in Coupeville, Wash., and the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 21 union have reached a tentative contract agreement, according to a South Whidbey Record report.

Here are three things to know about the agreement.

1. It is a three-year agreement.

2. The agreement covers pharmacists, laboratory and diagnostic imaging professionals, medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, medical records technicians, rehabilitation therapy professionals, respiratory therapists, certified nursing assistants and other clinical technicians, according to the report.

3. Unionized workers are slated to vote on ratifying the contract March 30.
