Nathan Littauer Hospital, union reach contract agreement: 4 things to know

Employees at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, N.Y., represented by the 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, have agreed on a new contract with management, according to a Times Union report.

Here are four things to know about the contract.

1. The agreement was reached after eight months of negotiations, according to the report.

2. It covers 400 technical and service employees at Nathan Littauer Hospital.

3. Under the agreement, base wages, along with pension and health insurance contributions by the hospital and employees, will increase.

4. The agreement expires June 30, 2019.
