Valley General Hospital in Monroe, Wash., has narrowed its potential partners down from eight to four, according to a Daily Herald report.
Last month, the hospital asked eight Washington healthcare organizations if they were interested in a partnership. Providence Health & Services (Renton) and University of Washington Medicine (Seattle) said they were interested. Evergreen Hospital Medical Center (Kirkland) and Skagit Valley Hospital (Mount Vernon) have offered joint proposals.
A Valley General official said the agreement may be wrapped up before the end of the year, according to the report.
