Officials from United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Wash., announced they have agreed to delay the start of a 30-year operating agreement with Longview, Wash.-based PeaceHealth to no later than July 1, 2014.
United pointed to delays in the state regulatory approval process and additional time required to integrate the two systems as the primary reasons for the extended timeline. The two systems are currently working under an interim services agreement, which will take on expanded terms July 1, 2013, according to the announcement.
