Olney, Ill.-based Richland Memorial Hospital is the second hospital to integrate into Urbana, Ill.-based The Carle Foundation.
Under terms of the agreement, Richland Memorial will rebrand as Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. The hospital will maintain its own local board and administrators.
The organizations had previously maintained a clinical affiliation agreement since 2014.
Carle Richland is the second hospital to integrate into the health system. Carle Hoopeston (Ill.) Regional Health Center joined the organization in 2012.
