Brentwood, Tenn.-based RegionalCare Hospital Partners and Nashville, Tenn.-based Essent Healthcare have completed their merger, according to a Tennessean report.
Under the deal, RegionalCare will absorb Essent and operate its seven rural hospitals in six states. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
RegionalCare Chairman and CEO Marty Rash will continue to lead the company.
The seven hospitals now operated by RegionalCare are in Florence and Muscle Shoals, Ala., Ottumwa, Iowa; Wilmington, Ohio; Sharon, Conn.; Waynesburg, Pa., and Paris, Texas.
