Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth Holdings will acquire Orlando-based Florida Emergency Physicians, the exclusive emergency medicine staffing provider for numerous hospitals within the state's health system.
FEP represents the sole staffing provider for 11 facilities in five counties. The organization consists of approximately 150 physicians and 100 advanced practice clinicians who provide care for 600,000 patients each year.
