Spectrum Health joins Affirmant Health Partners

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health is the newest system to join Affirmant Health Partners, a clinically integrated network formally known as The Federation Care Network based in Michigan, according to MiBiz.com.

With the addition of Spectrum Health, Affirmant Health Partners will be the second-largest CIN in the state, according to the article. Spectrum represents the eighth Michigan-based health system added to the network, which now includes 33 hospitals and nearly 6,000 physicians.

The other Michigan health systems in Affirmant's network include, Kalamazoo-based  Bronson Healthcare, St. Joseph-based Lakeland Health, Saginaw-based Covenant HealthCare, Jackson-based Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System, Midland-based MidMichigan Health and Lansing-based Sparrow Health System.
