Interested parties may now complete and submit a proposal to affiliate with Snoqualmie (Wash.) Valley Hospital, according to a Snoqualmie Valley Record report.
The board of commissioners for Public Hospital District No. 4, which operates SVH, unanimously approved officials' formal request for proposals June 8.
Following the decision, the board sent the acquisition proposal to interested parties. Officials said they expect to hear back from the organizations by June 23.
The deadline for completed proposals is Aug. 11. Once the deadline ends, the board will evaluate the proposals and determine the finalists in September. Tom Parker, CEO of SVH, said officials hope to "be in discussions with a preferred partner … by the end of the year," according to the report.
Officials have held roughly 12 public meetings seeking public comment on the proposed transaction, and will continue to encourage public involvement as negotiations continue.
