Seton Medical Center Harker Heights (Texas) announced (pdf) its opening, achieved through a joint venture between Plano, Texas-based LHP Hospital Group and Austin, Texas-based Seton Family of Hospitals.
The new 83-bed hospital cost approximately $100 million and encompasses 192,400 square feet, according to a Killeen Daily Herald report. It includes an emergency department, intensive and critical care, women's services, cardiology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, imaging, diagnostic services and surgical services. In addition, there is a 60,000-square-foot medical pavilion adjacent to the hospital to house physicians and medical specialties.
The executive team includes Matt Maxfield as CEO, John Sharp as CFO and Pam Craig as CNO.
