Scotland County Hospital Affiliates With Blessing Health System

Memphis, Mo.-based Scotland County Hospital has signed an affiliation agreement with Quincy, Ill.-based Blessing Health System.

Through the affiliation, both organizations will collaborate to achieve cost savings and explore clinical programs and services that will improve the quality of care for patients. The affiliation does not change ownership or management, as both organizations will continue to operate independently, according to the news release.  

"We know the importance of Scotland County Hospital to its community. We want to help it grow by sharing what we have learned and continue to learn every day," said B. Bradford Billing, president and CEO of Blessing Health System, in the release.
