Rochester (N.Y.) General Health System and Rochester, N.Y.-based Unity Health System expect to finalize the terms of a legal agreement to guide their merger by early fall, according to a Democrat and Chronicle report.
Officials at Rochester General and Unity have sent memos to their staff members saying the systems expect to file with the Federal Trade Commission this fall, according to the report.
The agreement will address the organizational structure, governance and work process for developing and executing the hospital and health system merger.
New York City-based Deloitte Consulting Services is aiding with the development of the framework for the consolidated system, according to the report.
