RegionalCare Hospital Partners, a for-profit hospital operator based in Brentwood, Tenn., and Sierra Vista (Ariz.) Regional Health Center announced they have signed a letter of intent to build a new 100-bed hospital with RegionalCare as the operator.
RegionalCare executives have agreed to fund the construction of a new Sierra Vista Regional facility, which will have 100 beds and is expected to be completed within the next three years.
Terms of the deal and the lease were not disclosed. The agreement is expected to close April 30. With the addition of Sierra Vista Regional, RegionalCare will now operate eight community hospitals as for-profit entities.
