Five Colorado hospitals are teaming up to improve clinical care services for patients in the southeastern region of the state, according to The Lamar Ledger.
Under the agreement, the hospitals will form and fund BridgeCare Health Network. The hospitals involved in the partnership include:
- 25-bed Mt. San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad
- 350-bed Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo
- 25-bed Prowers Medical Center in Lamar
- 79-bed Southeast Colorado Hospital District in Springfield
- 24-bed Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center in Walsenburg
Officials said the network aims to allow all five facilities to share and identify quality protocols and processes; develop shared strategies for patient retention and marketing; and standardize data collection among each of the partners.
Three representatives from each hospital will serve on the network's board of directors. Officials also named Pamela Burnelis regional network director.
