Privia Health Group, a technology-driven physician enablement company based in Arlington, Va., entered two new partnerships that will add 430 providers to its network.
With the two partnerships, announced Oct. 18, Privia Health is entering the California market for the first time and expanding its presence in Texas.
In California, Privia Health is affiliated with BASS Medical Group, which has about 400 providers spanning 42 specialties. The medical group, based in San Francisco, will serve as Privia Health's market anchor in California. Privia Health owns a majority interest in BASS Management Services Organization, the exclusive management services provider to the medical group.
In Texas, Privia Health has partnered with Abilene (Texas) Diagnostic Clinic, a multispecialty group with more than 30 providers. With the new partnership, Privia Health is expanding into west Texas and adding to its presence statewide.
"We are extremely pleased to be collaborating with BASS Medical Group as we enter the state of California and expand our presence in Texas with a third anchor group," said Shawn Morris, CEO, Privia Health. "It was critical to find the right partner who shares our vision to meet healthcare providers where they are on their journey to improve care in their communities, and we believe BASS Medical Group and The Abilene Clinic are the perfect anchor groups to bring our model of care to patients as we build a scaled network of primary and specialty care providers across the country."
