Gaylord, Mich.-based Otsego Memorial Hospital and Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital signed an agreement to enhance rehabilitation care for residents in northern Michigan, according to Gaylord Herald Times.
The Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network, created in 2011, is an alliance of hospitals and providers throughout the state. OMH is the 29th organization to join the network.
"OMH is excited about the relationship with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and the access to care and services available through its network," said Tom Lemon, CEO of OMH, in a statement. "We know that by expanding our healthcare connections we can bring the best possible services and expertise to our patients."
"We are pleased to welcome Otsego Memorial Hospital to the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network," said Kent Riddle, CEO of Mary Free Bed, in a statement. "The goal of our network is to work together to help as many patients as possible have brighter futures after serious injuries, illness or medical procedures."
