Amidst a $2.2 million financial loss in 2010, Pauls Valley (Okla.) General Hospital is exploring a partnership with four health systems throughout the state, according to a Pauls Valley Democrat report.
The report said PVGH's hospital board has approved a written request for merger proposals and sent it out to Norman (Okla.) Regional Health System as well as St. Anthony Health System, Integris Health System and Mercy Health System, all based in Oklahoma City.
There is no certainty PVGH will merge, and PVGH does not have to choose any of the four systems listed, the report said.
